Japan flood deaths toll rise to 15, 6 missing

Authorities were busy for the search and rescue operation as death toll rise to 15 cause by flood in Southern Japan this week.

Heavy rain warnings are still issued for parts of Southern Island of Kyushu on Saturday, July 8, days after Typhoon Nanmadol swept across Japan, causing floods and landslide in the area.

At least 26 people had been reported missing on early Friday afternoon. Self-Defense Forces were working with firefighters to sift through the debris.

Report said over 12,000 troops and rescuers continue the search and rescue operation and the clearing of roads.
