Duterte's Kitchen serves 'Lugaw'(soup) for free on the Day of Protest on September 21, 2017 at Plaza Miranda.
Duterte Kitchen is a small eatery in Cubao named after President Rodrigo Duterte which was launched early in December last year to serve free food for dtreet childrens of Manila.
Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) board member Benny Antiporda, one of the organizers said around 50,000 Duterte supporters were expected to joing the National Day of Protest.
Indeed, four mini trucks of Duterte's Kitchen were seen serving free lugaw to supporters of the President who joined the rally at the Plaza Miranda.

Duterte declared September 21, 2017 as a National Day of Protest as he acknowledged the people's fear of Martial Law.
Duterte said he was "in solidarity with the people's call against all excesses and shortcomings of the government, and with the people's desire to uphold the highest standards of integrity, efficiency and accountability in government."
