P1 Billion Medical-Bacolod soon to rise with international hospital accreditation

Negros Occidental was considered as the top place to live in the Philippines was eyed to have the first hospital accredited by the globally-renowned joint Commission International (JCI) through a P1 billion medical faclity in Bacolod whose ground breaking has commence yesterday, September 11, 2017.

The P1 billion Allied Care Experts (ACE) Medical Center-Bacolod will have two units which are a 5-storey medical arts building and 7-storey main hospital that will have 250 hospital beds ready to cater 24/7 after its construction within 18 to 24 months.

The JCI is an international hospital accreditation body know for its Gold Seal of Approval that provides the highest standards of medical care in more than 100 countries.

In the Philippines, there are only five hospitals accredited by JCI, among them are the Makati Medical Hospital, St. Luke's Medical Center-Quezon City, St. Luke's Medical Center in Global City Taguig, Asan Hospital and Medical City, all in Metro Manila.

This one-hectare location of the hospital will be at Lacson Street in Barangay Bata that was bought from Ma. Luisa Lizares-Lacson near the boundary of the cities of Talisay and Bacolod.
