Atleast 6,075 out of 12,447 passed the Civil Engineering Licensure Examination given by the Board of Civil Engineering in November 2017 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
The ranking are based on the highest number of examinees versus the passing percentage of November 2017 licensure examination announce by the Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010.
The University of the Philippines Diliman ranked 1st as the best engineering school in the Philippines for the November 2017 licensure exam with 97.41% total passing percentage, 113 examinees passed out of 116 total examinees who took the exam. University of the Philippines - Los Banos placed 2nd with 96.55% total passing percentage, 56 numbers of examinees passed out-of 58. The Bohol Island State University garnered the third spot with the 87.04% total passing grade, 47 examinees out of 54 passed the exam.
The University of Santo Tomas placed the 4th spot with 86.88% total passing grade, 192 out-of 221 passed the examination. The 5th spot goes to the Technological University of the Philippines-Manila with 83.33% total passing grade, 115 out-of 138 examinees passed the examination. For the 6th placed goes to the University of Negros Occidental Recoletos Bacolod with 83.33% total passing grade, 65 out of 78 passed the examination.
