Tropical Depression Josie enters PAR

After Inday exit in the Philippine area of responsibility, PAGASA on Saturday raised Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 1 to 6 provinces in Northern Luzon as Josie developed.

Josie spotted at 85 kilometers west of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, now moving east southeast at 15 km/hr. 

Signal number 1 was raised over Batanes, Northern Cagayan including the Babuyan Group of Island, Ilocos Norte, Northern part of Ilocos Sur, Apayao and Northern part of Abra.

Josie affects the sothwest monsoon or hanging habagat that is expected to bring widespread of moderate to heavy rains. PAGASA warned resident especially those living in low-lying or mountainous areas to take caution against possible floods and landslide.
