Sotto fires back critics on proposed Philippine National Anthem revision

Sen. Sotto on his Twitter account fires back critics about his proposal of slight revision on the last line of the Philippine National Anthem.

He even shared in his Twitter account Joey Ayala's version of singing the Lupang Hinirang.

However, Sotto clarified that his proposal to amend the national anthem,"Lupang Hinirang," was jut a composer's wish. And he said he has no plans of filling a bill to change what he called the "defeatist" line in the national anthem, "ang mamatay nang dahil sa iyo" to " ang ipaglaban kalayaan mo."
