Grande's "Thank U, Next" video is a love letter to 'Mean Girls' that broke YouTube records to reach 1 million views in less than 34 minutes. The track was still on top of the Billboard Hot 100. The video is to pay homage to teen rom-coms back in 2000.

The video for "Thank U, Next," a bittersweet ode to old flames, also includes references to Grande's exes including "SNL" performer Pete Davidson. The record-breaking video was directed by Hannah Lux Davis.
