New cameras installed at NAIA's baggage carousel, allows passengers see incoming luggage

People may now feel secured for their incoming luggage transported from the plane to the baggage conveyor system, MIAA general manager Ed Monreal said. Two closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras for every baggage carousel has been installed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

All baggage loaders are also equipped with body cameras, hope that this technology would helped curb the act of stealing. The NAIA has boosted transparency and security following to various complaints on theft and damage bags of travelers.


Among the new measures are the dual view x-ray machines, which would enable airport security to see the top and bottom of the luggage during x-ray inspections.

To there delight travelers took to social media and announced the development at the Manila International Airport.
