Here are some of the places in Philippines to spot a kind of trees that can rival to Japan's Cherry Blossoms

The month of May is the season for Japan's Cherry Blossoms which you could merely spot in the subtropical islands of Okinawa. For those who aren't fortunate enough to travel and feeling incredibly left out, you don't have to worry because you could now spot these beautiful flowers here in the Philippines, and we found it for you.

1. La Castellana, Negros Occidental


You need not to book just to glimpse Japan's Cherry Blossoms, as it is now blooming right here in Brgy. Biak na Bato in La Castellana, Negros Occidental. The vibrant of these fully pink flowers are close enough to the famous Sakura or known as the Cherry blossoms, however locals called it Palawan Cherry Trees.

2. Dasmariñas, Cavite



3. If Japan has "Cherry Bloosoms," Bukidnon has their own "Trumpet Tree". According to the Facebook user Laviana Marie, pink and white color of the Trumpet blooms in April, while the golden trumpet tree blooms in March.

5. Opps! still this is not in Japan, these breathtaking view can be found in the Assumption Antipolo in Rizal or known as the PACEM Eco-Park.


6. A six-kilometers bike lane at Benigno Aquino Jr. Avenue in IloIlo city can be spot these trumpet trees with beautiful flowers. The pale pink color of the rosy trumpet tree shares a resemblance with Japan's cherry blossoms.


6. Puerto Princesa, Palawan
