It's not the end for the aspiring reggae singer Luke Baylon after being rejected from his audition in the Idol Philippines. He received an offer from rapper Quest for a new collaboration project, "Exciting times are up ahead. Ready na kami guys," Quest wrote in a tweet.

Quest shared a photo of him with Baylon after their meeting. Quest has been part of the OPM industry for almost a decade, and known for his rap songs "Walang Hanggan" at "Sige Lang."

Luke Baylon from Tuguegarao however wasn't able to enter the audition of Idol Philippines.Baylon continue his passion to music in YouTube and even took the second spot of the most search video on YouTube Philippines over the weekend.

His exit to 'Idol Philippines' audition became controversial after three of the judges James Reid, Moira dela Torre, and Vice Ganda drop him to advance for the next round. Baylon performed his rendition of Alicia Key's "If I Ain't Got You," were only judge Regine gave him a 'Yes'.

James Reid, from one of the three judges has since responded to the criticisms, saying Luke Baylon is a good singer but we're looking for the total package. Wait 'til you see the 12 finalists. You’ll see why I said he wasn't ready. For now, I wish Luke all the success in his music career," he said.
