The Philippine showbiz industry mourns over Eddie Garcia's death at 4:55pm, June 20 in Makati Medical Center. The Veteran actor and director was hospitalized on June 8 after a bizarre accident during a taping for GMA's television series 'Rosang Agimat'. He tripped on a cable and fractured his cervical spine.
At first, report said the actor had a heart attack on set but later the news was clarified by his family doctor Enrique Lagman and said the actor was hospitalized due to a severe cervical fracture which he sustained due to the accident.
As soon as the news was revealed, people from the world of showbiz flooded social media with heartfelt tributes.
