The Philippines dance crew UPeepz bags the first runner up title in the prestigious Body Rock Dance Competition in San Diego, California. UPeepz, the World Hip-hop Dance Champions once again mark its name as the first Filipino dance group to finish in this internationally acclaimed urban-based dance competition.
The group received huge crowd cheers and standing ovation held on June 29. The group from the University of the Philippines Diliman performed a funny routine inspired by the human fertilization between the sperm and egg cells.
UPeepz outshine 12 other participating dance crews from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Russia, and Korea.

The group from the United States GRV was hailed as the champion, team Philippines (Upeepz) won the 1st runner-up, and TwoFourSeven (TWFR SVN) from Canada took the 2nd runner-up.
"Body Rock experience was thrilling and we're overwhelmed with the level of competition and talent in an urban-based choreography competition. Para sa Pilipinas," wrote in UPeepz Facebook page.
