Man waits 72-hours ahead of Jollibee store opening on August 16 in Edmonton Canada

A 26-yer-old man is camping out in front of the new Jollibee fast food restaurant in South Edmonton for 72 hours before its opening.

A new Filipino fast food joint in Edmonton has been making the rounds online after several locals started to camped outside the restaurant. A man plans to spend almost three days outside the Jollibee, patiently waiting for the opening. 

The man started to lineup at 9 a.m. Tuesday because he was inspired to take on the challenge by his mother, who travelled the Philippines years ago and has been raving about Jollibee ever since.

The Jollibee store in Edmonton, at 3803 Calgary is the fifth store around Canada scheduled to open on August 16. Jollibee is known for its menu like Jolly Spaghetti, Jolly Cripy Chicken, Big Yum and Yum with Cheese.

The fast food chain is offering promos for the opening. The first 50 customers to arrive with their most creative #ItsOurTurn signs will get a special Jollibee Funko Pop, while the first 300 customers will receive a free Jollibee Plush doll with a purchase of $25 or more, Jollibee Canada said.
