Mayor Isko personally gives P100K to centenarians in Manila

Mayor Isko personally visits and give the P100K checks to some centenarian's resident in Manila. On Thursday night August 1, 2019, he visited and greeted the 100-year-old Constantino Feliza Romero. 


His video post on Facebook, Isko can be seen knocking at the gate and he was warmly welcomed by the family and handed over the check to Romero who was in bed.


Under the Centenarians Act of 2016 (Republic act 10868), those Filipinos reaching the age of 100 years and above are entitled to a cash gift of Php100,000. This gift is excluded aside from the benefits and discounts they are receiving under the Expanded Senior Citizens Act of 2010 or the Republic Act 9994.
