Get used to the bright blue with reflective yellow vest suits in Manila as bicycle patrol police will now deployed to streets of Manila. Around 100 bicycle-riding police personnel has undergone extensive training ready to any situations in crime-prone areas of Manila.

Bicycle patrol officers will be charged with enforcing parking statutes and municipal ordinance, keeping the peace, and give the community a full police visibility in the area.
People can connect easily with bicycle officers on different levels than vehicle patrol officers. The initiative was also done in Davao led by MPD director Police Brig. Gen. Vicente Danao Jr., where he once serve as the police chief.
