Known as the Paris of Negros, Silay City is actually blessed with the most preserved heritage houses and buildings, thanks to the effort of local government. Lino Lope Severino Building was the first department store in Negros, and according to story this street had the same vibe as the famed Escolta in Manila and also a symbol of Iloilo's business district.

Now, this street has found life after McDonald's restored the interior of the old building with a modern touched where you can find still the remains of the old story on its exterior look.
The facade of the building remained mostly untouched though minor renovations were made to the exterior enhancing the color.
