Filipino and Indonesian migrant are among the fishery workers who was injured when a landmark bridge in Taiwan collapsed Tuesday morning, smashing onto a group of fishing boats underneath.

Six more victims are feared to be trapped underneath the rubble as rescue operations continue. Dramatic footage captured the moment the single-arch bridge's collapsed in Nanfang'ao in Yilan's Su'ao town.
Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen said she hoped all was safely rescued in the shortest possible time to minimise the damage, President Tsai Ing-Wen told reporters.
