Manila would be now the most friendly city for teachers as Mayor Isko Moreno brought good news to the public school teachers in line with the celebration of World's teachers day.

Moreno told the teachers that the City of Manila will construct a special ward to house public school teachers in time of their hospitalization. The announcement was made as the mayor praised the role of the teachers in building the nation as well as shaping and creating future leaders.
“We all owe what we have become today to our teachers. They’re our country’s silent heroes,” Moreno said.
Once the Ospital ng Maynila will finished that will start the construction next year, apart from the special ward, the new hospital will grant public school teachers with special lane for their medical needs.
“This is our small way of honoring our teachers for all their love, patience and understanding just to instill discipline and knowledge to students,” Moreno added.
The new Manila Hospital is said to be a modern with all-glass building for full view of the Manila Bay, adjacent to the current building along Quirino and Roxas Boulevard.
“The new OM will be at par with the country’s leading private hospitals in terms of services and facilities,” Moreno assured.
