The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology(PHIVOLCS), reported that the measured aftershocks is between 4.3 to 6.5 magnitude.
With this successive hit of this powerful earthquake, PHIVOLCS said that this aftershocks will last until Christmas.
"The aftershocks will continue for days to weeks. We'll be recording events as far as Christmas", said Ishmael Narag, the officer in charge of PHIVOLCS.
National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council ko (NDRRMC) said, the last earthquake affected 7, 303 families or 35,481 people and damaged 7,089 infrastructure, mostly houses and schools.
President Rodrigo Duterte has ordered all government agencies to fast track assistance to affected residents of quake in Mindanao.
There are still no exact figures available regarding the number of injured and missing at this time as rescue operations are still ongoing.
