Teacher received native chicken as gift from her student on World's Teachers' Day celebration

In the celebration of World's Teachers Day, we honor the men and women who have impacted the world through education. These people went above and beyond the call of duty to make a difference in their students' lives. Someone who encourage you because they could see your potential. 

Last October 5, teachers around the world celebrated the global event, some received a simple present from there students own way.  Some gave their teachers a flowers, cakes, chocolates,balloons and to a very simple cards with a message of appreciation. 

Recently, while we continue searching in social media some  teachers' day stories, significantly this photos is worth sharing. 

Teacher Talon Claude, a public school teacher in Banwalan Primary School in General Santos City went viral after she shared photos of her Grade 3 students who surprised her with a native chicken  as  a present on teachers' day. 

"Wala Yang flowers, chocolates, cakes and balloons niyo sa Native Manok ko! Hahaha.. Thank you LEGASPI. Pinaka Happy Teacher si maam. It doesn’t matter how expensive or how cheap it is. It’s always the thought that counts," teacher Claude said on her Facebook post.


Kudos to all the teachers who mold the future generations, taking one day every year to say "thank you" is the least we can do. No matter where you are in the world today, remember that teachers matter!
