Agatha Wong take her gold spot in the Women’s Taijiquan in Wushu event. She performed fifth and makes a wow at the judges with her routine that featured a brilliant mix of intensity and grace. She earned 9.67 on her score cards.
In 2018 SEA games, Wong won bronze in Asian Games in Jakarta.
Wong was so overwhelmed that she got the medal. She said, "I'm really happy that I delivered the first gold and have no regrets for today".
Wong joined with Burmese athlete Basma Lachkar on the podium. Basma Lachkar won the silver placed while Vietnamese Yhi Minh Huyen Tran got the bronze.
