Fake POEA Pages Warned Public

Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) warned all job seekers against fake social media pages of POEA. It is said that fake Facebook pages used the name and logo of this agency to promote employment vacancies in countries like Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, New Zealand and United States.

One of those posted jobs of a fake Facebook page offers opportunities in a car company in New Zealand. The said company denied any recruitment activity in the Philippines or any other country.

POEA administrator reminds job seeker to verify legitimacy of jobs posted online by contacting POEA at landline numbers 8722-1144 and 8722-1155 and through their official website: poea.gov.ph.
