Far Eastern University (FEU) toilets is the people's choice who has the best"kubeta" in the Philippines. With over 10 thousand votes on social media, this country's leading universities established by Dr. Nicanor Reyes in 1928 emerged as the big winner in this year's Golden Kubeta Awards conducted by Maynilad.

FEU bested 9 other nominees such as University of the Philippines Diliman Palma Hall, Mariam College, Port of Batangas, Park N Ride, PITX, National Museum of Natural History, Uptown Place Mall in Taguig, XentroMall Batangas, and XentroMall Polangui.

Also the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange won in the terminals and stations category, National Museum of Natural History (government offices), and Xentro Mall Polangui (malls and restaurants).

The nominees were crowd-sourced via different social media platforms with nominees posting photos of their toilets and hashtagging it #GoldenKubeta to qualify.
The criteria were functionality (40%), aesthetics (30%), amenities (20%) and overall comfort (10%).
Voting was done from November 12 to 15 via Kubeta PH's Facebook page.
The Golden Kubeta Awards are an annual public campaign by the Maynilad Water Services Inc, an initiative to promote cleanliness and higher standards in toilet maintenance. Kubeta PH aims to reach individuals, organizations and companies nationwide to promote proper wastewater management.
