The 11-year-old pinay Katrina Amber Cruz representing SM International Mall of Asia(SMIPH), has won 4 Gold Medals at the Skate Indonesia Leg of the Ice Skating Institute Asia (ISIAsia) Championship Series 2019 held in Jakarta.

The grade 6 student at the Holy Family School in Quezon City earned her gold medals in five events: Technical (Gold), Solo Compulsory(Gold), Footwork(Gold), Rhythmic Ball(Gold), and Surprise Event(Silver). The competitions drew hundreds of skaters from Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Cruz started figure skating in December 2018, now she balances her training and studies under coaches Henry Dumaliang, Dave Alarcon, and Randy Anonuevo.
Cruz also won gold medal at the ISIAsia Championship Series 2019 held at the Sub-Zero Ice Skate Club Megabangna in Bangkok, Thailand.
