Two cycling enthusiasts were get married after the 5th Tour of the Fireflies. Ron Anro Lumogdang and Angelene Mae Cajolo from the SEMBA Bikers Group of Sipalay City decided to get married in the middle of the event, officiated by Himamaylan City Mayor Rogelio Raymund I. Tongson, Jr. and witnessed by thousands of bikers.

The couple joined the 5th Tour of the Fireflies and took them at least 78 kms bike ride from Bacolod City down a path to their future as the event end in the city of Himamaylan, where the two are to tie the knot.

The 5th edition of the annual cycling event, which focused on bicycles as alternative means for environmentally sustainable transportation attracts around 4K bikers in Negros Occidental. Bikers from all ages in the province joined the tour that start from the Provincial Capitol Lagoon going to the Himamaylan City as their end point.
