Kobe Bryant Death: Filipino Fans Create Mural For Kobe and Daughter Gianna in Taguig City covered court

The death of the great NBA star Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others shocked the world. His death was felt as far away as Philippines, where fans mourned his passing along with millions of others across Asia. 

As a basketball-loving nation, the Philippine fans are also devastated when the news broke out. Kobe Bryant has always been popular in the Philippines, where his life was represented the ideals of Filipino values and sensibilities.

Bryant has been visited the country seven times over the years, winning the heart of his Filipino fans. This covered court in tenement housing in Taguig City is painted with special mural of the late Kobe Bryant and his daughter as a tribute, following their tragic death in a helicopter crash.


Most of the Filipino generation fans grew up watching Bryant, as he made his way through the league. Along with Michael Jordan, he was one of the NBA superstar to win the Filipino fans, which embraced the basketball sport.
