Wuhan Coronavirus: People are wearing innovative protective shields against spreading virus went viral

Better safe than sorry! 

While it isn't uncommon to see people wearing face masks amidst the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak, this people are just making sure not a single virus could penetrate them. 

To counter coronavirus outbreak, people started to make their innovative protected antivirus shields, a great measures to ensure they won't get infected.

A lady was photographed at Vancouver International Airport wearing a surgical mask like everyone does, however, she even step up her protection more than as required - she was also wearing plastic container on her head.

While other report claimed that the virus might be transmitted through the eyes, these people doesn't want to get chances. Although these innovative protections wasn't proven yet, other photos circulating online also came up with thesame idea.

Meanwhile, experts advises people to always do proper hygiene to protect oneself from infection.

Here are WHO's standard recommendations for the general public to reduce exposure and transmission. 
  • Frequently wash their hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or warm water and soap
  • Cover their mouth and nose with a flexed elbow or tissue when sneezing or coughing
  • Avoid close contact with anyone who has a fever or cough
  • Seek early medical help if they have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, and share their travel history with healthcare providers
  • Avoid direct, unprotected contact with live animals and surfaces in contact with animals when visiting live markets in affected areas
  • Avoid eating raw or undercooked animal products and exercise care when handling raw meat, milk or animal organs to avoid cross-contamination with uncooked foods
