The Department of Health has reported three new deaths due to COVID-19 as the total number of cases have reached 1,418 in the Philippines.
On Sunday, 343 new COVID-19 cases have been reported, seven new recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries to 42.
The Department Health said the recent surge in cases is due to the country’s expanded testing effort.
