Typhoon "Ambo" has made landfall in Eastern Samar, particularly in Jipapad which drove over hundreds of people away from their homes. Over 13K persons in Northern Samar were moved to evacaution centers based on the initial reports.
Several major roads are not passable due to flooding, uprooted trees, and toppled electric posts.
Ambo has left so much infrastructure damage in Eastern Samar which Gov, Evardone described as "Typhoon Yolanda Jr.".
