John Lloyd Cruz and Ellen Adarna has come together to promote the wearing of face mask as the most important tools to limit the spread of coronavirus.
As the number of COVID-19 cases continue to spike in Cebu, the two have stepped up the spread of awareness to all the Cebuanos about the importance of the masks, home quarantine, social distancing, and washing of hands
The video which was uploaded at UP Medical Alumni Society of Cebu's official Facebook page showed the Cebuano's pride as they encouraged people to take the pandemic seriously. Cruz, who was speaking in Cebuano, urged the people to follow the health protocols set by the authorities.
Even me, I’m guilty sometimes but from now on, no more reason. No more excuses, He said.
There is hope and we are the hope, he added.
On a separate clip uploaded on June 22, 2020, actress and model Ellen Adarna made a short tutorial on how the proper wearing of face mask. She also expressed her love to Cebuanos, so she will wear face mask.
“Dae, tungod kay panangga takaw, ako magsuot og face mask,” Adarna said.
