Taylor Swift impressed with pinoy fan who baked her with folklore-inspired cake

Taylor Swift fans are celebrating the success of 'Cardigan' single as Billboard's No.1 for her eight studio album, Folklore.


Swifties are sharing their excitement on Twitter, and this Filipino siblings who baked a 'Folklore' inspired cake has stole the attention of the pop icon, Taylor Swift.

John Paul Cledera, together with his sibling Nicole Anne are Swift's Filipino fans who hope for the success of the album since it was release on July 24. In fact, Nicole was first who made the Folklore-inspired cake for John's birthday on July 30.

"My sister made a Folklore cake for my 24th birthday today. Also…umm…if you add 2 + 4 you’ll get 6. I’m manifesting Taylor to get a 6th no. 1," he said.


Eventually, the siblings hope came true after Billboard announced that "Folklore" took the No.1 spot on Billboard's 200. As the Swifties are celebrating to her dual success, John made another cake with a frosted painting design of the Swift's standing in the woods.

“I literally painted this using frosting for almost 2 hours,” John said on Twitter and tagged Swift's official Twitter account.

Swift saw John's post on August 4 and expressed her gratitude for him, "WOW this is incredible!! Thank you so much for making this. I also saw your Instagram and your art is phenomenal!" she said.

Quickly, #ProudOfTaylor began trending on Twitter, with fans on the hype sharing their excitement over Swift's double success.
