Coleen Garcia plans to deliver her first child via water birth

 Actress Coleen Garcia reveals that laboring at home via water birth is most likely her option amid coronavirus pandemic.

Pregnant with her first child, Coleen is on her 39th week and say she might deliver on September 9, according to her Instagram post.

“We are actually all set for a home birth. My team is made up of a midwife (plus a nurse) and a doula, and we are going to try for a water birth right in our bedroom,” she revealed in a cover story for the fashion magazine.

“Kahit na anong advice ang hingin ko from different mommies, iba pa rin kasi ang time na ‘to. Like right now, we’re praying for a successful home birth. So, we’re not gonna go to a hospital. Mahirap talaga!” said Coleen.

“But that’s my plan, to give a water birth here at home, sa master’s bedroom. Di na talaga ako lumabas this whole quarantine season!” she added.

She also said that giving birth at home has its advantages, since her family will be there for her if she will be needing them.
