A Facebook user Christian Lorenz Nuñez posted a photo of a Grab delivery rider who had to stop by the side of the road to attend an online class using his mobile phone.
"Kaya pala pumarada si paps,, kasi need nya umatend ng online class. Sana matupad mo ung mga pangarap mo," Nuñez wrote.
The delivery man was identified as Ax Valerio, a 21-year-old, and a third year BS Communication student at Adamson University who also work as a delivery service driver.
"Pinili ko pong magtrabaho para makatulong sa family ko lalo na ngayong panahon, hindi po ako pwedeng huminto sa pagtatrabaho at sa pag-aaral dahil yung papa ko po ay na-stroke at wala nang katuwang ang mama ko sa gastusin namin sa araw-araw," Valerio told Inquirer.
According to a report from Inquirer Facebook post, Valerio said that his employer allowed him to work on a flexible time arrangement so he could cope with other activities to earn a living to support his studies.
