Jollibee's Chickenjoy spot the top five best fried chicken in the U.S., according to the Best Fast-Food Fried Chicken list released by American Magazine Redbook.
In celebration of the National Fried Chicken Day in the U.S., the magazine recognized Chickenjoy as one of the world's best. Chickenjoy beat its other competitors such as other American fast-food giants in the US, the McDonald's (12th) and KFC (11th).
“Jollibee is the Filipino fried chicken chain that’s about to take over the United States,” the article reads.
Redbook's search that described to be as one of the "“crispiest, juciest, most delectable piece of poultry in fastfood.” Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen followed by Chick Fil-A and Hattie B’s Hot Chicken has dominated the list respectively first, second and third.
“We couldn’t be happier of this recognition, as it goes to show that our Chickenjoy is truly world-class. We see customers continuing to come in droves to our stores because of their love for Chickenjoy,” said JFC President for North America Rowel Vijandre.
Jollibee’s world-famous chicken has already received much international praise. Chickenjoy earlier made it to top 3 in America’s best fast-food fried chicken list released by FoodBeast in the United States.
The Filipino billionaire Toney Tan Caktiong is behind the successful franchise, founded the fast-food chain Jollibee in 1978.
