Michele Gumabao made the announcement saying it's going to be her last beauty pageant competition. "Unfortunately po, because of my age, there will be no more beauty pageants for me,” the volleyball star said in a report.
Her announcement comes after she finished second runner-up in the recently concluded Miss Universe Philippines 2020. Gumabao, however, revealed that she's going to be busier these days as she could continue her on hold plans and commitments she missed during the competition.
She would be now focusing on her businesses and pending projects. "This is the beginning of even brighter journey 'coz I have a lot of different businesses to bring in to the Philippines,” she said. “And now, I have the time to do so."
“I have also another career that I’m eyeing… [but] now is not the perfect time to share about that," she added.
