For this Michigan couple, it's always worth waiting for after they were blessed with a daughter for the first time since 14 times baby boy comes ahead.
Kateri Schwandt gave birth to baby Maggi Jayne on Thursday, joining the world filled with 14 big brothers namely Tyler, Zach, Drew, Brandon, Tommy, Vinny, Calvan, Gabe, Wesley, Charlie, Luke, Tucker, Francisco and Finley. She could be the most protected girl ever born.
“We are overjoyed and beyond excited to add Maggie Jayne to our family,” Jay, 45, told Detroit Free Press. “This year has been memorable in so many ways, for so many reasons, but Maggie is the greatest gift we could ever imagine.”
The couple have a live-streaming program called 14 Outdoorsmen, but it seems they need to change name for their newest member.
Their oldest child, Tyler Schwandt, 28, said his parents thought they would never have a daughter at their home after 14 sons.
Even their family grow, the couple earned advanced degrees where Kateri holds master's degree in social work from grand Valley State University, while Jay is a lawyer and owner of a land surveying business.
