While many of the workforce in the Metro are struggling in going to their place of work during this pandemic, celebrities are trying to do their part to help those in need.
Piolo Pascual has just joined Gretchen Ho's "Donate A Bike, Save A Job" initiative that would benefit struggling workers.
He recently donated a total of 200 bikes, vests, and helmets as he personally turned over the first 100 bikes to Ho at the Quezon City Memorial Circle.
In a Facebook post, Ho acknowledge Pascual as the first celebrities who pledge to support her initiative. She also said that the second batch of donations will be given to those affected by super typhoon Rolly in Naga on the coming weeks.
"Dahil sa kanyang pagiging siklista, alam ni Piolo ang halaga ng isang bisikleta. Kaya naman, simula Day 1, siya na ang isa sa mga unang nag-pledge na mag-donate sa bike drive na ito. Galing pa siyang Batangas nung Linggo, pero talagang sinadya niya kami sa QC Circle."
"Maraming salamat sa iyong suporta sa aming adbokasiya. Proud to be sharing the same mission with you," Ho said.
