Authorities stopped a shoe sale offering huge discount on branded items for a grand opening of the new store in Lahug, Cebu City, November 11.
Pictures of huge number of shoppers that flocked to the area to avail the discounted price has since went viral to social media, with queues reaching up to Gorordo Avenue, according to the netizens, who happened to pass by in the area.

At least a thousand of people were able to disperse by the personnel from the Cebu City Police. The initial investigation said, the shop owners did not expect that their sale would attract that huge crowd that started to line up at the store's vicinity since 3 a.m.
