Several users of the popular apps YouTube and Gmail are having trouble in accessing Monday evening, impacting hundreds of users.
According to DownDetector, the website that tracks web outage, the issues started at around 11:56 GMT, and are affecting users worldwide.
Google is yet to comment on the issues.
YouTube and Gmail seem to have been worst hit globally, causing an uproar on Twitter about Google services being disrupted. On Gmail, emails are not loading and an error message reads: "Oops...the system encountered a problem - retrying."
Some users are suggesting to use incognito mode in YouTube to bring back the service.
Use incognito mode in YouTube and it will work.

Use incognito / any other browser where you don't have your YouTube logged in. It has nothing to do with the YouTube server, it's the Google server, that's why a logged-in user can't get in. #YouTubeDOWN 😁
