Abanse Negrense A's Alexa Polidario and Erjane Magdato celebrate its first volleyball champion following an inspired straight win in the 2021 Gatorade-PSL Beach Volleyball Challenge Cup held in Subic Bay.

On Sunday, February 28, as part of a complete team effort to conclude the beach volleyball season the Negrense was able to overthrow Sta. Lucia's A duo, DM Demontaño and Jackielyn Estoquia, 21-15, 21-17.
The Negrense registered a perfect 6-0 campaign to capture the title of the three-day event. Polidario and Magdato sweep the three-game in the elimination round, securing the top spots heading into the quarterfinals.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Cosas and Gelimae Villanueva of Abanse Negrense B nailed the bronze medal with 21-13, 22-20 win over Bang Pineda and Jonah Sabete of Sta. Lucia B.
The PSL Beach Volleyball Challenge Cup is the first volleyball special bubble event to be held in the Philippines since the onset of the COVID-19.
