Bacolod Rhythmic Gymnastics Club to host first international online competition

 Bacolod City based rhythmic gymnastic club will be hosting international online rhythmic gymnastics competition on February 25 to 28, 2021. This would be the first-ever online gymnastic event to be hosted by the Philippines.

Dubbed as the "1st MK Rhythmic Gymnastics International Online Competition," the event currently earned entries from Hong Kong, Germany, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, France  and from the host Philippines. 

The competition aims to promote the sport of Rhythmic Gymnastics even during this time of pandemic. This will also encourage gymnasts, not just from the Philippines but all over the world, to perform and gain experience; motivate gymnasts to support and love the sport; and build friendship among various Rhythmic Gymnastics clubs around the world. 


The competition will be conducted via the video conference platform, ZOOM, and it will be streamed on the official Facebook pages of MK Gymnastics and Coach Kris Joy Leeping.

It is expected a total of 114 gymnasts will participate and compete for the podium finish and other special awards. Participating gymnasts are categorized based on their date of birth and they may choose to compete in four different levels.
