Manuel "Manny" B. Villar still on top of the Forbes magazine's 2021 list of wealthiest people in the Philippines with $7.2 billion (P349.45 billion) net worth. The 71-year-old Villar has made it to the 352nd spot of the world's billionaires who saw his wealth grow despite of the pandemic from $5.6 billion (P271 billion) in 2020.
Enrique Razon Jr., who leads the ports and gaming in the country saw his wealth jump by 43.3% to $5 billion (P242.67 billion) in 2021 from $3.4 billion (P165 billions) last year.
Tobacco, banking and properties tycoon Lucia Tan, was also seen significant rose on his wealth by 94% to $3.3 billion (P160 billion) in 2021 from $1.7 billion (P82.5 billion) in 2020.
