Delivery rider in viral 'lugaw' video seek help after gets threat

The delivery rider involved in the viral 'lugaw' video in Bulacan now asking for his safety, revealing that several suspicious men were supposed to intimidate him after the incident.

Marvin Ignacio took to his Facebook account and made a live video detailing his life after the viral video surfaced online. According to him three men went to his house on Thursday night, carrying a supposed memorandum that order the closure of the lugaw or rice porridge store that processed his order.

Ignacio said that he found suspicious on the activity of the three men as it was done during the curfew hours. He also alleged that the unidentified men shouted at him.

"Sana po matulungan ninyo kami. Pinagiinitan na naman yung Lugaw Pilipinas. May nagpunta po doon, tama po ba yun… Pasensya na po ha, kasi natatakot ako… Baka saktan nila ako," he said.

"Kahina-hinala yung galaw nila. Wala silang kasamang barangay tanod, wala silang [police] mobile. Naka-motor lang talaga sila, tapos ang gusto nila isara yung tindahan kasi mayroon daw silang memo na pinapakita," he added.

Ignacio, went viral earlier this week after a female Barangay personnel barred him to deliver a 'lugaw' to his customer during curfew hours.

After the video went viral, Palace also react and gives verdict to the issue saying "lugaw is essential" and are not restricted by the curfew.
