NCR Plus still under MECQ until May 14

 The modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) is extended in the NCR Plus until May 14, President Duterte announced on Wednesday.

The move comes after the recommendation of experts and the Department of Health to help decongest hospitals in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite and Laguna.

Meanwhile, Santiago City in Quirino province and Abra province will also be under MECQ for the whole month of May, starting May 1.

However, here are the areas will be under the general community quarantine from May 1 to May 31, 2021:

Mountain Province

Region 2

Nueva Vizcaya

All other areas not mentioned are under the modified general community quarantine.
