A Filipino-Canadian couple luck has not yet over as they won twice in seven months a total of $1,175,000 or (estimated to over P56-million) in two major lottery prize.
Edgar Ebreo and Liezl Panganiban won $500,000 or (estimated to nearly P24-million) playing the Extra in the Lotto 6/49 draw back in September 2020. But, their luck continues as they recently took home another $675,000 or (estimated to over P32-million).
"We feel really blessed and very thankful," Panganiban told the BC Lottery Corp.
Ebreo bought the Set for Life ticket from a 7-Eleven store on Coast Meridian Road in Port Coquitlam and Panganiban scratched it at home.
"I can't quite described it," Ebreo said, "It's a special feeling," he added.
"When I saw the three cash symbols, I couldn't believe it, so i showed Edgar," Panganiban said.
"I started dancing," Ebreo added.
The couple is now planning a family trip to Hawaii and use the money to pay off their mortgage.
