Kiefer Ravena collab with Jordan brand becomes first Filipino to sign with international company

 Philippines' basketball star Keifer Ravena have partnered with Jordan brand, joins young NBA superstars such as Luka Doncic, Jay Tatum, Zion Wiliamson, Asia Durr, and more.





The Michael Jordan owned company made the announcement on Twitter and welcomed the NLEX Road Warriors star Keifer Ravena has signed as the first Filipino athlete ambassador for the brand.




"Being in the Jordan Brand family motivates me because I know I’m joining something special.




"Welcome to the family, @kieferravena, the first Filipino athlete to join the Jumpman roster," the brand posted.





"I still can’t believe that I’m part of the Jordan Brand Family. I’m very fortunate to have a great support system," said the 27-year-old Ravena. 




Following his impressive college career with Ateneo Blue Eagles in the UAAP, where he claimed two MVP awards, he set out then his luck for the NBA by landing a spot on the G-League Texas Legend's squad.





He also also represented the country in numerous international tournaments, including the 2019 FIBA World Cup for Gilas Pilipinas.




"I’d like the world to know that Filipino basketball is all about heart. We’ve always been underdogs. I want to bring back the time when people looked to Philippine basketball on the international stage — the glory days of Philippine basketball. Hopefully, we will be given a chance to do so," he shared during an interview with Jordan brand.
