Carlos Yulo has fell short to bag a single medal in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics as he finished fourth in the artistic men's vault final on Monday night at Ariake Gymnastics Center.
He completed with an average score of 14.716. South Korea's Shin Jeahwan took the gold medal with 14.783, ROC's Denis Abliazin settled for the silver with 14.783, while Artur Davtyan of Armenia clinched the bronze with 14.733.
The 21-year-old said in his social media post that his journey was not that easy but it was all worth it. He also thanked those who supported and prayed for him.

Yulo secured a spot in the vault final last July 25, but missed out on the floor exercise.
