Actor Ejay Falcon confirmed he is running for Vice Governor of Oriental Mindoro in 2022 elections.
The 'Pinoy Big Brother' winner will be the running mate of incumbent Oriental Mindoro Governor Humerlito "Bonz" Dolor. The 31-year-old Falcon said, "Ako po at tinawag ng kabutihan. At ang kabutihan na yun ay ang maglingkod sa ataing bayan at hindi mo matatanggihan na yun. Ako po ay papsok sa larangan ng pulitika at pagiging public servant."
The actor turned politician isn't the first celebrity to enter the world of politics and he is hoping to receive the same support he received when he joined PBB from the people of his province.
"Sana ay suportahan n'yo rin ako sa ganitong klase ng larangan," said Falcon.
Proud of his past he also talked about his throwback photo showing him working in a market,"I'm proud na i-post yun at sabihin sa lahat ng tao na galing ako sa ganoong trabaho noong kabataan ko. San sa simpleng post kung yun, ma-inspire ko yung mga kabataan, mga magulang na nangangarap para sa kanilang anak," he said.
Falcon was a lead star in the ABS-CBN dramas "Dugong Buhay" and "Sandugo," and among other Kapamilya movies and series.
