Switching of network is always a normal move to every celebrities in the Philippines, and this year during the pandemic is the biggest swap ever.
Last July 1, actress Bea Alonzo signed a contract with GMA Network after almost 20 years of being a Kapamilya (ABS-CBN) talent.
Prior to joining the Kapuso network, Alonzo was starred in several primetime dramas and movies produced by ABS-CBN such as One More Chance, The Mistress, A Second Chance, and Four Sisters and a Wedding.
She said that pandemic gave her enough time to "think and reflect on the things about my (her) life," she said. Adding that she was open to "take on new possibilities and challenges."
"I am beginning to rediscover myself again. I am going to make new friends. I am going to meet new people and collaborate with new people. That is such a huge blessing for someone like me who loves to do what I'm doing," she said.
Alonzo is set to film a movie with GMA Network star Alden Richards.
Meanwhile, the 32-year-old former Kapuso actress Lovi Poe was welcomed by ABS-CBN family on Thursday, September 16, for contract signing.
Mananatili sa Puso ♥️
Hindi po biro ang 15 years. I would like to thank GMA for taking a chance on this unknown dreamer; for believing in me and supporting me all these years. pic.twitter.com/XpRCP83sWs
Lovi was pictured alongside ABS-CBN president and CEO Carlo Katigbak, COO of Broadcast Cory Vidanes, group CFO Rick Tan and among others.
She will be paired with Kamilya heartthrob Piolo Pascual for the Philippine adaptation of the Korean drama Flower of Evil.
