Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have reportedly broken up after alledged family dispute between boyfriend and mother Yolanda Hadid.
The supermodel, 26, and the singer, 28, said they both want to co-parent their 13-month-old daughter Khai despite the family discord.
According to People report Friday, multiple sources had confirmed the split.
"They are not together right now. They are both good parents though," a Hadid family told the outlet. "They co-parent. Yolanda is of course very protective of Gigi. Sge wants the best for her daughter and grandchild."
TMZ, meanwhile published, Malik allegedly struck Gigi's mother Yolanda, a claim that the former One Direction singer denied.
"I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid," he wrote in a statement on social media. "This was and still should be a private matter but it seems for now there is devisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been 'leaked' to the press," Malik continued.
In a statement to People, Gigi's spokesperson said: 'Gigi is solely focused on the best for Khai. She asks for privacy during this time."
